“We stayed at apartment alkira for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The apartment was well laid out and really really spacious, which we didn’t expect. We also love the quirky vintage furniture, very different to all other usual self contained apartment. The location is very convenient to all that melbourne cbd can offer. Although it was drizzling and extremely windy and cold outside, the moment we stepped into the apartment it was very well insulated even before we turned on the heater.”

“The location was terrific – as promised on their website it really was central and within easy walking distance of everything we needed. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the place just has a great sense of style and soul. There was a fancy coffee grinder, a great selection of books and magazines and a gorgeous daybed I could barely get up from.”

“We chose Melbourne for our very quick honeymoon and were very excited to have found Alkira Apartment for our accommodation. Superb location (walk or tram to anywhere), great size, funky retro fit out, super comfy bed and pillows in wonderfully dark (in the morning!) room. all the little bits you need and if you’ve forgotten anything there’s the 7/11 downstairs. Just perfect. Could have been in Paris or Spain when looking out to the streetscape. Can’t wait for an excuse to stay again. We were calling it our ‘pre’ honeymoon but we felt so spoilt I’m happy to remember it as the real thing!”
